Tried to buy a sub gen 3 last week but realized it does not work with my many of my older sonos products that I control by my S1 app. The only solution is to find an older sub, gen 2 or even 1. Anyone that can give a recommendation how to find that and where? I’d prefer a serious party and not taking the risk to buy unseen from a private person over the internet

The Sub Gen 1 and Gen 2 have been discontinued so Sonos doesn’t offer them for sale brand new. So the best place to purchase them now is through sites like eBay, Mercari, OfferUp, or Facebook Marketplace. If you are patient, sometimes you can find a really great deal from a reputable seller. I just purchased a Sub (Gen 2) in like new condition from Mercari for $300.
Sometimes Sonos will have a certified refurbished Sub (Gen 2) on sale, but it currently isn’t available:

Thanks. I will scan the Swedish refurbished site. The other two are more of a gambling I think, private sellers where you may not be able to see and listen to the products before you buy (if they live far away), but thanks.
