I have a Sonos one but the app can no longer detect it. Purchased a roam in the summer and can connect to this. Seems I had a ‘gold’ app now converted back to a ‘black’ one - I’m very confused. Don’t really want separate apps for each Sonos device.
can anyone offer any advice?

There are only 2 apps: S1 and S2. They are used to control the different versions of speakers
If you look closely the new app has Sonos on it and the S! app also includes the S1 below the Sonos. Although the new app is now black, it's still technically the S2 app. The S1 app is now a charcoal grey.
