Is it possible to use the speakers to voice page throughout a building?

I guess it's possible, although not really what they're designed for. You'd need to have a device that has a line in (Connect, Connect: Amp, or Play:5) and then a proper microphone and wiring that would match the input for whichever device you have.
There are several things to think about, though. 1) There's a delay on analog data input to a Sonos system, in the 70ms range. Makes it unusable for, for instance, DJing, or Piano playing, etc. 2) There's a maximum number of devices (32) allowed on any one system. 3) You need to think about how you're connecting them. Is it wifi? Is it wired? Each speaker needs power, as well.
Generally speaking, I'd suggest that this isn't a good system to use as a voice pager. I'd be looking for other solutions. But I believe it is possible, just not practical.
