I am building a covered patio.  I want to use the Sonos Five.  Can the Five be wall mounted?  Is it also recommended to be used in this manner?  The overview states it is humanity proof.  The unit will be high up on the wall near the ceiling an not exposed to the elements - just humidity and heat.

Please advise.

Yes, you can wall mount the Five. There are no issues regarding sound. Click the link for the hardware required.

Excellent.  Thanks!  Do you know if there will be issues long term mounting in a covered patio? (i.e. does not hold up to the extreme cold in the winter)

Extreme cold or heat is not recommended. The Fives are not outdoor speakers. You may want to consider the Sonos outdoor speakers by Sonance. However they will require a Sonos Amp. Click the link below.

I’d be concerned that using a Sonos Five outside would immediately void any warranty for the product.
