I have line in set to autoplay from the headphone out of my tv . The sound is fine when I switch on the tv but if I switch to a smart app say amazon,plex etc the sonos goes to silent

 

You then have to go in the app and hit stop then play again to resume audio despite the fact the audio source remains line in all the time.

The first thing I’d check is if a pair of headphones connected to the TV behaves the same way - if they do, I’m not sure there’s anything we can do to help.

You then have to go in the app and hit stop then play again to resume audio despite the fact the audio source remains line in all the time.

Is this the Sonos app, or the TV app? 

 


the headphones work fine on the TV - its outputting more than enough sound at line level.

 

It is with the sonos app that I have to press stop then play.

Does the issue continue if you disable Autoplay?

the issue is still there despite experimenting with TV line level into the sonos. Line level input on the app etc

 

very annoying as I never had this issue with S1 Play 5
