Dumb question but can I use my Sonos One alone, away from my soundbar base unit? Going to be staying away from home in a cottage with wifi.

If it’s ‘bonded’ as a surround to the playbar, then remove it from the room. so that it is a standalone speaker.

Take an Ethernet cable with you to the cottage and first connect your mobile controller device to the new wifi network. Temporarily wire the Sonos One speaker to the router (it will appear in the Sonos App) and then enter the new routers WiFi credentials in the Sonos App under "Settings/System/Network/Wireless Setup”. Then after few seconds disconnect the ethernet cable and ensure the speaker is working on the new WiFi and then put the speaker where you need it.
