1. Sonos removed Audible because an update caused the service to be incompatible with the Sonos system.
2. Sonos is planning for compatibility with Alexa, the Amazon VI or digital assistant or whatever you want to call them.
3. Amazon owns Audible
So, my question is: Will Alexa-Sonos integration solve the problem with Audible-Sonos integration?

Sonos is pretty tight-lipped about ongoing development, especially when it is is private beta (which, if we believe the Alexa announcement, began at the end of 2016). I highly doubt you are going to get a definitive answer at this point in time.
