So annoying Sonos, My Sonos 1 stopped working with recent app update. What do I do?? Anyone else face the same issue??
No, but “not working” is a pretty vague statement. Can you be more specific about the problem?
means the new app wont detect it no matter how many times I reset it.
P.S. I have a soundbar, sub, Sonos 3 and they all work except this Sonos 1
Hmm, so you have three devices that work, and a Play:1 (or a One?) that doesn’t show up.
As you have factory reset that device, have you tried hard-wiring it to your router and then “add device to system” in the app? Hard-wiring makes it a lot easier to set up than trying the wireless options.
Once it is working when hard-wired, it should “just work” when you unplug it thanks to the magic of SonosNet.
tried that a few times, let me try again tomorrow
No joy, it detects the Sonos 1, later it asks me to click on play/pause and Plus button and later goes into la la land.
