Is Sonos Play:5 line in bypass the d/a converter of Sonos or the incoming analog signal is converted to digital/analog signal from Sonos
and then goes to the speakers?

So d/a from my source then a/d from analog input to Sonos Speakers correct?
a/d/a inside the 5 unit; all drivers need an analog signal. If streamed to other Sonos speakers as well, the d/a is done in them.
