Hi , i have lot of cds in my library and I want to play them in my stereo Sonos era 100 system

I’ve seen a usbc-rca cable in the Sonos website but seems like this will produce analog signal rather than cd digital audio quality .

how and what do you suggest to buy in orther to play music in high quality from cd to Sonos era 100 system ?

thanks a lot

If copyright rules allow it in your country, use a tool to create lossless copies of your collection. Store them on an NAS or on computer hard disc, and then access them as a music library. That way, different speakers/rooms can play different tracks from your library.

All CD playback produces an analog signal. We humans can only hear analog, so a digital signal must always be converted via DAC to analog.

Thanks Rhonny  I’ve got the subscription. The thing is I wanted to use my old cd library . King of nostalgic thing

Ignore the Spam post above (it will soon be disappearing).  FIrst of all, it’s Spam.  Second, the information it gives does not apply to Sonos.  Except for TV soundbars, Sonos has no way of inputting a digital signal, it only has analog Line-In.

Fair enough. You won’t hear any difference but I’m sure it will ‘feel’ different!
