Can anyone help me to set up my Sonos one speaker so it can communicate with echo dot speakers in other places in the home?

Communicate how. Do you meannintercom and drop in. You can’t do that with Sonos One.
Yes, that is what I mean. I got my two teens dots for Christmas and I would like to be able to call them, etc. from the kitchen.
As Chris indicates, that appears to be one of the things that Amazon is reserving for their Alexa devices, and is not available on Alexa enabled devices. I would assume it's to drive some of their own hardware sales.
