Turn off spoken answers, use sound cues instead

Hello,

as with any other voice assistant, I’d really like to see a minimal response option where I don’t get a spoken answer that’s twice as long as my command, but rather just a simple “pling” sound.

Personally, as much as I like Giancarlo’s voice, I need voice assistants to be as unintrusive as possible - especially with “quick” commands which are used often, like volume control or grouping. UX-wise, a “pling” conveys a positive feedback as well as - or even better than - an actual answer.

Any further ideas and discussion welcome.

Since you reference Giancarlo, this must be about SVC.

Well yes, that’s why I posted in the SVC forum.

You’re right, I’m sorry. I did not notice because I follow the recently active threads.
