Hi,

 

I am about to acquire an Arc and some Era300. I watched some youtube video saying sonos voice control does not work with spotify. 

 

Are these video still up to date ? Maybe this has been fixed recently ? Does it ?

that is too bad. 

 

As a worarround, would it work throuht google assistant ? Google assistant is working fine on sonos, right ?

You can command Spotify with Google Assistant, yes. Unlike SVC Google is not limited to only a few languages…….

Google also has this weird rule that they’re the only one allowed as a voice assistant. SVC and Amazon can coexist, but as soon as you add Google, all the others have to go away.

One does wonder if that’s why Google can’t be installed on the Era speakers…too restrictive.
