Can't get Sonos to play favourite stations from Sonos Radio using voice control

I can't get Sonos to play radio stations from Sonos Radio using voice control. The stations are in my Sonos Favourites. 

“Sorry, I can’t find that on Sonos Radio. Please try again with another music service.”

I’ve tried playing the stations via the app, asking “What’s playing” and pronouncing my SVC commands similarly, but no joy.

Any ideas? 

Is there a way to rename a favourite station in the iOS or desktop app that might get this to work? 

I’m not using Alexa and don’t plan to.

I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble using the Sonos Voice Control to play your favorite Radio Stations.

Sonos Voice Control (SVC) currently supports English-US and French and can also recognize the Top 400 US Terrestrial Radio Stations and all Sonos Owned and Operated Stations on Sonos Radio.

After the station is added to your favorites, it is recommended to remove and re-add SVC to force-update that information or else it takes up to 24 hours.

Is there a way to rename a favourite station in the iOS or desktop app that might get this to work?

This is not currently possible, but I’m happy to mark this as a feature request and forward it to the appropriate teams for consideration.

Unfortunately this didn’t work either. Wondering if it’s an “I can’t pronounce it the way Sonos expects to hear it” thing. 

Is there a way to rename a favourite station in the iOS or desktop app that might get this to work?
