Will Roam 2 work with power cable even when the battery has failed?

Roam 1 once the battery failed the device was useless.  It will not work even with the power cable connected.

Thanks for posting… I am finding this same issue and ironically I spent extra on the charging base, and it hasn't moved from that.

Frankly this device has always been problematic.

At least now I can stop wasting time on trying to find a solution (all solutions rely on the device actually powering up and non allude to the fact that a faulty or dead battery will render the device useless)

If people knew this before purchase I’d say that they would have avoided buying this lemon product.

Same here, I bought the charging base, and yes I would not have bought if it didn’t work when the battery fails. Also, the battery didn’t last very long.
