Using the new wireless charger and cable and the battery has gone up 7% in 50 mins whilst the system is off.

While charging times can vary according to the charger used and the temperature of the battery, that does sound somewhat slow.
I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team, who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos Roam and what it’s reporting about it’s power functions.
