Hello @Andrey P, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Previously, I could turn auto trueplay on or off from the top panel and from the app. It was convenient..

Did you by any chance had a Voice Assistant activated on your Sonos Move?

There are a few scenarios to bare in mind when it comes to when the microphone mute button is active or not:

  1. Voice Assistant active and Auto Trueplay active → Microphone on. Mute microphone touch button works in order to activate/de-activate both at the same time.
  2. Voice Assistant active and Auto Trueplay disabled → Here comes the dedicated button in the App to disable this feature. It wouldn’t make sense to mute the microphone for the purpose of disabling Auto Trueplay when you want to have a Voice Assistant active.
  3. No Voice Assistant and Auto Trueplay active → Microphone needs to be activated for Auto Trueplay to work at all times. Mute microphone touch button has no need to be active.
  4. No Voice Assistant and Auto Trueplay disabled → Microphone off at all times. Mute microphone touch button has no need to be active.

I could mark this thread as a feature request for the 3rd and 4th scenario, where you can activate/de-activate Auto Trueplay by muting the microphone via the mute microphone touch button.

To be honest, my personal opinion is that I do not see this coming anytime soon, if at all.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the detailed answer. The voice assistant is turned off. In some acoustic conditions, it would be convenient to turn auto trueplay on or off from the panel. Also when connected via bluetooth. Previously, there was such functionality.
