one of my sonos roams dropped on the floor last night about 3 feet.

since then it seems to play so far but will not power off via the power buttom.

i guess if plays no problem, right??

Does the power button still put the Roam to sleep or put the Roam in Bluetooth mode, or is the power button completely without function?


no function at all as far as i can tell. 

warranty might not cover dropping...


If that button isn’t functioning, you are losing a lot of functionality with the Roam and it will probably cause some problems for you in the future. I would contact Sonos Support about it:

i may have reached out too soon.

another resource suggested a “full hard reset” and so far the button is back to normal.

i would have hoped a 3 foot or so fall was not enough for serious damage...
