ROAM SL Setup

I’ve read every article, etc. and my ROAM SL has never been able to work with the upgraded app.  I only use the device to augment my TV Sonos ARC.  I don’t stream music or use any other function.  Can I just use the original app?  I don’t want an upgrade that is killing me.  Tell me where I can get the old app.

What specific issue are you having with the Roam SL and new app? Are you able to see the Roam in your system on the app? Are you able to stream music to the Roam? Have you tried adjusting the Group Audio Delay setting under the Arc’s settings?

Using the original app, my ROAM SL connected to my current wireless network and was recognized by the app, etc.  Just turn on my bluetooth, load the app and turn the speaker on and it plays the TV audio.  I never streamed any other audio from any other source.  When I was lured into upgrading the app, now I can’t connect the ROAM SL to my network.  The app can’t always find this device to perform a setup.  When it does,  I get 1-2 screens into the process and then it keeps telling me that this device isn’t on the network.  From here, it sends me in circles.  This has been a great little portable speaker but for the last several months (since the upgrade), this speaker has been dead to me.  Is there a way to simply download the original app?
