Roam not playing

My Sonos Roam appears its connected and playing with the little volume thingys moving like the other 3 speakers, however there is no sound coming out. I have reset the Roam. Same problem. Every now and then it will start playing but when I try it again the next day it wont play.  Also somtimes if I turn off some other speakers the Roam will play. If I switch back it stops playing. I am using an Asus mesh wifi system.

Any suggestions welcome.

This is almost definitely due to your wifi network.  Sonos don’t actually recommend mesh networks, although that’s not to say that some people have no issues using them.  If you move the Roam to next to your base mesh device, does this resolve the problem - just as a test.

Thankyou you were correct. 3 of my Sonos devices were on 1 access point and the roam was on the other. As soon as I bound the Roam to the common access point the problem was solved.
