Roam gives a single amber flash, otherwise not working and seems dead

Roam seems dead.  It has no lights and holding power does not work nor will a hard reset.  I have tried multiple charges, ensuring they had adequate power.  When I take it off the charger, it flashes an amber light, once, and that is all that happens (no sound).  It is not found in the Sonos app.  Relatively unused and in good condition otherwise.  Is it dead?  Anything else that can be tested to bring it back to life?

There is another reset that sometimes helps. After the unit has been on the charger for a couple hours, remove it from the charger, then hold the power button for 15 seconds. Place the unit back on the charger and see if it starts. Fully charge the unit.

On occasion the charger will not actually charge the unit. Briefly remove power from the charger. Also make sure that whichever charger you are using is able to charge the unit.
