New Sonos Move does not work?

I bought a Sonos Move today and there is no way I can get it to work.  I thought an upgrade from a simple, but working Bose BT speaker was a good idea but it turns out it is not. 

My IPhone 14 does not seem to connect, it keeps aksing to set the network setting to allow but it already is.

On my iPad at least the app responded and I was able to find the move but it now needs a system update which I cannot load because I am not the system owner of it ? 

Why make it all so difficult, why do I have to make some kind of profile, do a login on an online service, fill in all my details, confirm e-mail address etc. while all I want is to play some music.
