Hi - How can I change my Move, which is currently on the S1 system, to the S2 system? I have several other speakers that I will keep on the S1 system. They’re not S2 compatible. Thank you!

With the issues folk are currently experiencing with the new app I’d suggest not doing it for a while, till the app is more stable and reliable. Unless there’s a reason or need to do so?
If you did update it, you would no longer be able to play music on all speakers in sync, they would be two separate systems. And, depending on how you did it, you would lose all settings and Sonos Playlists etc. on one of those systems.
Not sure I can think of a reason to do what you want, given your other speakers and the current state of the App.
Thanks so much for replying. Yes S2 sucks. Its inconceivable that a company would release an untested product like S2.
i have an S1 system that works and i don’t want to change it. I also have an Arc and since it’s wired to the TV, I don’t have to deal much with S2. i would like to be able to switch the Move so that I can occasionally join it with the Arc, God willing. Mostly though the Move will be S1. Can you advise on how to switch the Move to S2 for occasional use? Thanks again!!

It can’t really be done for occasional use; it’s one or the other, although there is a “revert to S2” option - but I think that applies for systems rather than individual speakers.
I think you could move it back and forth between S1 and S2 but from reading that is a massive aggravation going either direction. See the FAQ for a how-to.
If I really needed something Grouped with the Arc today I’d get an additional Sonos speaker. Might even look at the used market to keep the price down. Just make sure you get one on the S2 capable list from the Sonos FAQ.
Thank you Stanley. That’s a good idea. I had considered getting S2 speakers like the Five but feel it would be money poorly spent if Sonos is not a viable system. I’m going to wait at least a year. If Sonos fixes S2 and becomes a trusted reliable product, I may reconsider. I hope that possibly another tech company, that has a better Quality Assurance program and good speakers emerges as a competitor.
