I am able to pair my Sonos Move 2 with the television (tv about 4 years old) but no sound comes from the Sonos.
is it possible to play the sound from the tv through the speaker and if so, any suggestions to fix would be gratefully received?

Use a Soundbar, they are designed for TV usage. Moves are not.
