MacOS update - An unexpected error occured while importing playlists

I finally updated macos to Catalina 10.15.7, which replaces itunes with apple music.

Now I get the ‘unexpected error occurred while importing playlists” error every day when my music library updates, and all my playlists are invisible to Sonos.

I’ve tried exporting the ‘music’ library as xml and using it to replace the itunes library file [which appears to update itself anyway] as suggested here but it didn’t help.

90% of the time I use Sonos playing music from my library, so this is really spoiling things.
Help!

Could it be that the individual tracks in a playlist points to an iTunes library and not an Apple Music library?

Not a Mac/iTunes/Apple Music user myself so please forgive me if it sounds too far off.
