Virgin 360 dialogue sync issues with Beam

Hi,

Hi, Been using Virgin Media V6 with a Beam and Ones for surround.  No issues at all. Virgin recently upgraded firmware to their V360. Since then, I have dialogue synch issues. Some channels it’s hardly noticeable and other channels are unwatchable. Virgin have no idea. Sonos support ran diagnostics and said there were no issues.

Turned off Dolby (Virgin forum suggestion) but it made no difference.

Anyone got similar problems?

Perhaps set your TV sound-out settings to ‘pass-through’ the audio across its ports, rather than the usual TV ‘auto’ option which means it may try to ‘process’ the audio en-route, that’s if your TV has that option available - it’s a feature that’s often available within many modern TV sound-out settings.
HTH.

Hi Ken, Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately although only a year old my Sony Bravia does not have that option.

The good news is Virgin have now acknowledged they have an issue which they are working on.
