Hello,

I’have a Sonos home cinema (Beam2, sub mini, 2xEra 100), they are plugged onto a power strip. Can I turn the plug off when not in use or for the night, or is it not recommendend to turn the pluggs off ? Does it damage the Sonos system if it’s regurlaly turned off or unplugged ?

Cheers

Sonos speakers are designed to stay plugged in at all times. They will go into idle mode after a few minutes of not detecting an audio signal to save electricity. But unplugging the speakers from power when you are not using them shouldn’t cause any issues either. It will just take a little more time for them to power up and reconnect to the network.

Thank you for your answer !
