TV speakers and Ceiling Speakers

I have in ceiling speakers powered by a sonos amp. I currently have them connected to my TV and sound coming from the ceiling. 

I am not a fan of the location the sound is coming from, and while I'd like to eventually get an Arc or Beam, I'm not quite ready for the splurge.

I am wondering if there's an interim solution where the sound can come from the TV and the ceiling speakers can be used as surrounds.

Is this possible?

In general, no. But there may be a specific TV out there that will support this.
