Sound dropping to beam

I have a LG TV connected to a Sonos Beam via the HDMI-ARC port.

When I first turn on my TV or when no sound is on the TV for a while, normally due to the screen saver coming on, the Beam is reporting no connection to the TV and the volume is set to zero when I look at the Beam via the app.

I have to press the volume up button every time for the Beam to re-connect to the TV and sound to be heard again.

How can I get it that the Beam keeps its connection and volume level even when the TV is off or the screen saver has kicked in ?

The Beam is acting as it should. When a Sonos device doesn’t detect an audio signal for three minutes, it automatically goes into idle mode to consume less power and save energy. The only way to prevent the Beam from going into idle mode is to constantly send it an audio signal from the TV.
