Sonos Beam Gen 2 cannot get very loud on spotify application

Hello everyone, 

when I play a song through Spotify application from Sony smart tv, the sound is perfect and can go very loud if you want, but

 

when I play a song from Spotify application on phone or from Spotify app inside Sonos application, the sound from Sonos beam cannot get very loud at all..

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I haven’t ever heard a report of this behaviour before. Are non-Spotify music sources (not involving the TV) the same?

If rebooting your Beam (unplug from power for a moment) doesn’t sort it out, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team, who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.
