I’m pretty good with computers however, it took about 7 hours over a 3 day period to get my system updated and back up and running.  This just isn’t right…

Along with an hour and 10 minutes on the phone with Sonos support who were unable to help…

Very disappointed…

 

If you tel us users what was wrong we might have suggestions to avoid the issues in the future.


Be prepared to unplug your Bean Gen 2 many many times as well as to reboot your router the same amount.  Each time you do this, you will get just a little closer to downloading the latest Sonos software update.  When you think you almost have it, you most likely do not.  Start again.  It’s a long arduous process that will require a great deal of patience.  I believe the problem to be a combination of the release of ios 18.2 as well as servers suffering from software rot.  Far too many errors.  Good luck!
