sonos arc and sub gen3: midbass

Hello,

 

I am a relatively new Sonos user. I do enjoy a good sounding system.

Currently I own the arc and sun gen3. I find the midbass very much lacking specially in alternative music however if I turn up the bass in eq or sub volume the kick drums gets really powerful and sometimes annoyingly punchy.

One example may be La Calin by Serhat Durmus. I know this song well and the bass doesnot sound like anything it’s supposed to.
 

does anyone else has the same problem or is it just me.

If you can’t find an EQ and Sub volume setting that works for you then Sonos’ Trueplay might be an option. You’ll need a supported Apple device to run it though.
