Hi there, I would like to buy a Beam gen.2, I already own two Sonos Ones.

My main question is:
Having an Apple TV connected to a video projector at the end of the room, can I install the Beam front  (where the projector screen is mounted) and make everything work with AirPlay without any hdmi or optical cable between Apple TV and Sonos Beam? Thank you

Yes, the Apple TV can connect to the Beam using AirPlay. But don’t expect to get 5.1 or Dolby Atmos audio through this connection from the Apple TV. Also, if you plan on using the Ones as surrounds, they will just play as stereo speakers, not as actual surround speakers that play the rear left and right surround channels.

AirPlay 2 only sends a stereo signal to non-Apple devices.
