My tv is connected to my sonos playbar. Its working well.

I have the soundlevel set to 70 as I Can manage the soundlevel when watching tv using the remotecontroller.

so far so good.

when using the playbar connected to Spotify, I turn the soundlevel to a much lower level .

when I have switched off Spotify and subsequently want to watch TV, the sound level can only be turned up to the low level at which I listened to Music. cannot therefore be optimized for the sound limit Set for the soundbar in the Sonos app.

is there any solution to that problem

I have a set top box as well as tv, and each has a remote. The STB has a crude volume control - 8 levels. It’s frustrating when my wife uses that. Does your setup have similar devices/controls?

Hey Nik9669a, thanks for Your reply. As You I have a STB connected to my tv its managed by a remotecontroller,of course.

my soundbar, on the other hand, is not connected to any remote control directly, but responds to my TV's remote control, which is not the one I use to the STB, but my TV’s original Remote control.

I have now discovered that the sound on my TV can be controlled with the original Remote, so this is obviously the solution

Like so many things, it’s obvious once you know the answer  😜

My tv and the Sonos app also get out-of-sync so when the tv shows the volume is reducing the Sonos app can actually be at zero for several “volume reductions”. I told my wife the numbers are random, and to set the volume according to how loud it sounded  she’s happy with that, so: so am I!

Glad you’re sorted.
