I am trying to setup my TCL 870 remote control to also control the volume of my Sonos Ray. Every single instruction I can find, points me towards going to system → Specific Room → Select Home Theatre → Select remote.
When I try to do this, the only device I can find in the relevant Sonos Room, is my “Ray”. There seems to be no way to add a home theatre system, there is no setting for “Remote” under the Ray, and there seems to be no way to add a home theatre setup. I get the option to add a subwoofer or a pair of stereo speakers, but this is not what I am trying to do; I don’t have a subwoofer, and my other Sonos products are placed in different areas, I don’t want to link them to the TV. All I want to do is to get an option to add my IR capable remote to the system.
Any advice?
