when watching movies it sounds like there is an echo and reverb. it does not sound right. how can I get this to work properly?

Ray with 2 era 100's and mini sub - echo

Did you add the Sub Mini and the Era 100s as surrounds to the Ray or are they just grouped with the Ray in the Sonos app?

You have the Ray, Sub and 100s all bonded into a surround setup?
If not bonded then there will be a delay when you group them for TV play. That is not avoidable as it is designed into the system to deal with networking issues.
