I just purchased the Ray and due to space constraints, during set up I had to place it in front of the TV, which blocks the infra red on my TV. As a result, the remote does not turn on the TV. I also have a Beam which does turn the TV on even though the Beam blocks the TV IR. Does the Ray have this same type of capability?

Most newer TV’s use bluetooth, are you sure the TV your Beam is connected to has ir?
