No output sound from Ray

Just bought the Ray speaker but no output sound despite the status lights saying all is okay. Any tips would be appreciated. Restart maybe?

Sometimes a cleanup can help. Power down all Sonos, reboot router and controller and power up the Sonos and see if it helps.

How is RAY connected to the TV?

Thanks for your quick responses guys.

The RAY is connected via optical cable through Virgin box.

ill also try the clean up steps you suggested as well.

The optical should run from the TV to the Ray.

I joined this community barely 10 minutes ago it seems and already you have solved my issue! Fantastic!

I powered down the speaker, rebooted the router and hey presto!

Is the Virgin box set to put out sound to the optical connection?
