New Arc bought yesterday

I bought my new Arc yesterday and overall no isues. I have still got to work my way through the settings for both my TV a LG OLED65CS6.

 

However one issue I noticed and it may not be an issue

 

I watched a couple of films which was great

Then I played some musci via the S2 app but no sound. After a look through the settigns and not actually changing anything that I can remember sound came.

 

However when i went back to watch a movie no sound again

I tried looking for something called CEC (which I Googled) found something similar.

 

However is my Arc supposed to switch and play sound or is there something that needs adjusting

Set the TV to these settings:

HDMI Input Audio Format: Bitstream

Digital Sound Output: Pass Through

eARC Support: On

Simplink (CEC): On

 

And under the Arc’s settings, enable TV Autoplay.

I had picked up the TV setting late last night and plan to check them tonight

I know that the Arc is already on Auto play.

Hi

 

The only one I could not find is the HDMI Input Audio Format: Bitstream

 

Also, I think the sound problem is that the sound level is off when switch off or set to 0

 

I need to check some more
