I’m building a media wall with fire underneath & the TV, LG G3 65, sunk into the fake wall.

My Arc is going to be difficult to integrate as it needs to protrude & height wise it’s pushing the TV too high.

I could put the Arc above but it would still protrude & sound could be impacted. I could have a bracket to pull out the tv & Arc when watching but that seems like a faff.

Im therefore looking at swapping out the Arc for KEF LX II or LX II LT’s.  I need to connect them to my Era 100 rears & Sonos sub mini.  Will the Sonos amp be able to do this and will I be able to use the TV remote for volume??

any help/thoughts very much appreciated!

The Amp can be used with the Era 100s and Sub Mini, BUT the KEF LSX II are powered speakers. The Amp is designed to power passive speakers.

Thanks for the reply. Just to be clear does that mean the Amp can’t connect to these KEF’s. If they were passive would I be able to connect everything & have it working through my tv remote?

The Amp will not work with the KEF LSX II.

You should be able to use your TV remote with the Amp and a set of passive speakers. Just connect the Amp to your TV’s HDMI ARC port.

Many thanks! Super helpful!

Sorry, final question will I be able to use the ERA 100’s & Sub alongside the fronts to provide surround sound?

Yes!

Yes. The Amp (with passive speakers) can be used with the Era 100s and Sub Mini (or Sub) in a home theater setup.

I’d phrase it the other way: the KEF LSX II will not work with the Amp 😜
