I just have 2 Era 100s - I plan on buying an Arc Ultra in a few weeks.
When installing do I need to remove Era from app and reinstall them? I know some people have been having issues and it is making me concerned if Era/Sub 3 will work with Ultra.

You can setup the Arc Ultra when you receive it.
If the Era 100s are in a stereo pair, separate the stereo pair before attempting to add them as surrounds to Arc Ultra.
Similarly with the Sub, in the app remove it from the Era 100s and either leave it unassigned, or if the Arc Ultra is already added, move the Sub between rooms in the app.
There is no need to factory reset the Era 100s or the Sub and add to the system again.
Majority of issues people have had were due to them not removing Sub/surrounds with previous soundbar when they upgraded to Arc Ultra.
