Home Theatre Setup (Arc + Sub 3 + 2x One)

I read a home theatre setup topic in help but it may be outdated.  It says to set up the home theatre speakers as separate rooms before setting up as a home theatre.  I will be setting up an Arc, Sub 3 and two Sonos Ones for surround.  The Arc part of the app has “Add Sub” and “Add Surrounds” items.  Do I still need to add each of the components as separate rooms in the app and then create the home theatre?  Or can I just set up the Arc, add the sub and add the surrounds from the Arc page?

I don’t know if they’ve recently fixed that issue or not. You could try it, and see if it works. If it doesn’t, fall back to the “setting it up as a separate room” for the surrounds. The Sub will not be set up as a separate room, it should just attach as a satellite to the Arc.

I’m afraid I don’t re-set up my Arc every week to see if anything has changed, so that’s the best advice I can give you. If one way doesn’t work, try the other. Neither will do any “harm” to your speakers.
