I am in the process of updating my system. I currently have a Sonos Arc and two Sonos Ones, but I am going to move the Ones to the patio for outdoor listening. Here is my upcoming setup/question - I am planning on using the following components for my home theater in my living room, and would like recommendations on how to set everything up: Sonos Arc, Sonos Sub, Sonos Amp and a pair of 3 way (non-Sonos) ceiling speakers. When I connect the Sonos Amp (with the ceiling speakers), do I connect the amp to the tv or Arc, or do I not connect those via the HDMI Arc connection? I want to have the Arc, Sub, and ceiling speakers auto/always on when I turn on the tv.

You only need to connect the Arc to HDMI-ARC, the Amp will be added as surrounds and will connect wirelessly.

The Amp will monitor the power state of the Arc so it is always on when needed. When not used it will drop to idle, low power, mode.
