Google Assistant activated by movies/TV-shows

Hello everyone,

I’m having a problem where certain keywords in movies etc. is activating the Google Assistant. When it happens sound is muted until it deactivates again (few seconds). I know I’m able to turn off the microphone manually but I’m wondering if there’s a way to do it automatically when watching TV? I’ve got no use for Google Assistant during movies and TV-shows anyway.

Am I able to contact Sonos directly with feature requests?

Thanks in advance.

This is likely a Google issue, rather Sonos, so I would contact both companies, but ideally you need to provide them with examples where you see the issue occurring (a particular advertisement, or an approx. time in a TV show episode etc.) to contact Sonos you can go HERE, but I think going straight to Google will likely be the much better option - I would go via their ‘Assistant App’ and choose the option to ‘send feedback’ as that will send any local system files too which may be relevant and perhaps assist.
