Hi all,

I’ve got a Sonos Playbar that connects to my TV via an optical Toslink connection, but I’m looking to connect another device to that same connection. I’ve been told a splitter could work, which sounds great in theory, but I’ve also heard that you can only connect one device at a time with a splitter—so it’s either one or the other.

Has anyone experienced this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? Is there a way to use both devices simultaneously?

Thanks in advance for any help!

What is the “other device”? What exactly are you trying to achieve?

Hi, thanks for your reply! The other device I’m trying to connect is an Opticon TV hearing aid adapter, and both the Sonos Playbar and the Opticon adapter require the Toslink optical connection.

The Opticon device does have an RCA connection as well, but I haven’t had any luck getting that to work properly, so I’m currently stuck with using the optical port. Any suggestions on how to make this setup work would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Splitter worked on my Beam,  should work to split any TOS signal.

Hi Stanley-4, thanks did you get any splitter in particular
