(1) Sonos ARC connected via HDMI to Arc port of the TV => works great.

(2) Second sound source, that I convert from Optical to HDMI using the Sonos Adapter. If I connect this via HDMI to Sonos ARC (and disconnect TV), it works great.

Question => Is there a switch/splitter that I can control with a remote without having to switch the Sonos ARC cables in this setup?

TV only supports ARC. I connected the second source to the TV, but the TV does not recognize it.

You could use an HDMI switch, one that supports eArc.

Maybe?

Don’t know ho happy the Arc would be with the changing source though.

I tried the following eARC switch, it did not work

OREI 4K HDMI Matrix Switch 4 X 2, Switcher 18G UltraHD with Arc Supports Upto 4K @ 60Hz & 1080P IR Remote Control - Full Matrix Selection (UHD-402) https://a.co/d/b84VaAj

That looks to have Arc only on Input 4 and Output A.

I think this one might do what you want, it is quite complicated and I just skimmed the details so no promises.

Hi Guys. I have a same problem but little bit different. I have the sound-bar ARC SONOS and now work with HDMI directly from TV. but I need add the headphone of my father and they should work simultaneously. do you know a splitter HDMI ARC that can work in this way? I tried a splitter that I founded in AMAZON but didn’t work. https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B08TX473Z8/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A11IL2PNWYJU7H&psc=1
