Hi

we are making a cinema room and was wondering if this set up will work

1 Sonos arc under the tv on a media wall

2 sub on the floor in front

3 x2 wall architecture speakers in the wall at the back at ear level on the side walls

and the amp, also does it work together having a Sonos amp and the rest of the speakers being connected to the tv  ?
we have the speaker cables ready where the wall speakers need to go is this easy to set up in the app as one room and link ?

Yes that will work.  Simple add all devices to the system as separate rooms.  Name the Arc the name of the room you want it to represent.  You can name the Subs and surrounds anything you wish, the names will disappear once they are added to the Arc.  Then just add the Subs and surrounds to the Arc Ultra using the settings menu for the Arc Ultra room.

ETA: I see you listing “3 x2” speakers in the rear.  I don’t recommend more than a pair.  Doubling or tripling up on surrounds doesn’t add anything, and it can diffuse some effects.  Just get a single pair.

I also would not put your rear speakers on the side walls.  The Sonos system is designed to have the surround speakers behind the listening area.  Era 300s should give you better audio than an amp + 2 passive speakers for surrounds.

And honestly Sonos is targeted towards spaces where wireless audio is preferred.  If you are building a room and can easily run speaker wire to any place you would want to place a speaker, I think you’re better off going with a traditional wired setup.
