I want to change name of a Beam speaker from “9 Beam” to “2 Beam TV” - I can change it but it changes back after some time (have been like that for 6+ months...)

You can change the name of each room by going to the Sonos application» System» Products» click the room name» rename the room.

Do you have Apple Homekit? That is usually the culprit for this.
