Benefits of two Subs (Gen 3)

I am considering adding a second Sub (gen 3) to my setup due to the size of the room (open concept that is makes the sub under sized).

If you have done this, what were the results? Is there more bass or just less deadzones?

Thanks!

I recently added a second Sub to my Arc + Sub + Era 300s setup. I have one Sub placed at the front left corner of my living room and the other Sub placed at the the rear right corner. The biggest difference I notice is more even bass from my main listening position. With one Sub, I could tell the bass was coming from the front left corner of my room. With two Subs, the bass in the room feels more balanced and omni directional.
