Beam Gen2 stopped working, and won't reset / no leds

Hi,

Yesterday after turning off the television and nothing else playing, the Beam Gen2 started making crackling sounds. I powered off & on, and immediately the crackling resumed even though nothing was playing. I also noticed there was no LED when powering the Beam on.

I left it powered off overnight, and this morning I have tried connecting it again. No LED, no nothing (also no crackling). I have attempted factory reset a couple times, but there is no LED at all when I connect the power.

I don't see the speaker in the Airlplay device list, and the Sonos app also is not seeing the Beam anymore.

Did it somehow die? Any suggestions what I else could do to fix it?

I think this is one Sonos support rather than the user community.
